ObverseEmperor Mounted Right on a Radiate of Probus
In addition to having no face, the mounted emperor has hands that are way too large for realistic portraiture and his abdominal muscles would put many a body builder to shame! The modeling of the horse's features, including his face, are almost exquisite, considering that this coin is not quite as large as a U. S. quarter. The only fault might be that three of the horse's cannon bones (the shin on a human) amu be a bit too long.
