Camp Gate Reverse of Constantius II

The legend on the obverse of this coin reads FL IVL CONSTANTIVS IVN NOB C. Ti indicates that this coin was struck during the reign of Constantine I while Constantius II was still a caesar. Other indications present on this coin that he had not yet become an augustus are the full, unbroken legend surrounding the small, boyish bust and the use of the abbreviation FL rather than DN and NOB C rather than AVG.

This type of AE3 with camp gate reverse was struck during the reigns of Constantine I and his sons Crispus, Constantine II, Constans, and Constantius II.
