LXF SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR 2000:

JUNE 10TH ARDENWOOD FARM, FREMONT
We have been invited to participate in a grand Living History presentation of various time periods. Our camp will be set up on Friday afternoon, at 3 p.m. I would truly appreciate any help in setting up our camp. At present, there are discussions going on for allowing us to also stay overnight on both Friday and Saturday. This will be a ONE-DAY only Public Presentation. Details to follow in the next LXF Newsletter.

JULY 8-9 FT. MacARTHUR, LOS ANGELES
This will our Southern Detachment of LXF, located in the Los Angeles area, first major public debut. I encourage all of you to please consider attending this important event for our fellow brothers-in-arms. The local commander there is DALE HIMEBAUGH. Tent shelters will be provided. The local Hometown Buffet will host a fine evening meal. Cost is only $5 for the event and the meal. What a deal!

Lady Lydia and I plan to attend and to help support our southern LXF in recruiting new members. I've already sent him the names of two potential recruits who have expressed interest in joining LXF.

JULY 29-30 POINT PINOLE, PINOLE
Interest has been shown for a possible event to be held here at this lovely site. At present I've started the process of applying for a site permit, event permit, camping permit, weapons permit, etc. It's a lot of red tape, if you ask me, But the good part is: NO Fees to pay. At least, that is the impression I've been given so far.

SEPTEMBER 2-3 HIGHLAND GAMES, PLEASANTON
LXF has been invited this year to participate in these highly popular games. This will give LXF a lot of public exposure. The downside is, several members of LXF are also members of the Scottish Highland group. Hmmm? Hail Caesar! More details to follow.

SEPTEM[BER 23-24 LAGOON VALLEY, VACAVILLE

LXF has finally cleared the last obstacle for approval of this great event site. Now it will be up to us to publicize this event. More details to come later on.

DECEMBER 21,22, and 23 BETHLEHEM VILLAGE, REDWOOD CITY
At present, this site is still available for a repeat performance of this great traditional Christmas season event. LXF has been invited to lend their active support to this inspiring drama. More details later.
