GLORIA EXERCITVS Type
The mintmark, though blundered, does tell us that the coin was struck at Nicomedia. The left hand letter would have been an S, giving a probable mintmark of SMNA. Unfortunately, the right hand letter is obscured by corrosion, so we may never know which officina produced the coin.
