Emperor on Horseback Spearing Fallen Enemy

The horse and rider seem to fly through the air in this left facing variation of the emperor on horseback type. The exquisite rendition of the emperor's cloak and horse's tail carried behind the figure by the wind convey a sense of speed, power, and grace. With one front hoof above his face and the other above his chest, and his shield long since thrown away, the enemy doesn't have a chance!
