| New recruit Patti Ballard gets a workout in the Gladius Training Pit as the public looks on. Soon, these civilians, Barbarian and Roman Citizen alike will get teir chance to try out their skills under the guidance of Optio Antony Lucius (Anthony Garbisch) and Centurio Marcus Antonius Lucius (Robert Garbisch). The soldiers of the legion learn more and more each day about these strange new Barbarians in the land called the United States of America.
