Next ImageThis is a beautifully struck antoninianus of Trajan Decius. This example is of decent weight and good silver for the period, probably 40 to 50 percent. Some coins of Decius were underweight and sloppily struck; this one is well struck with a nicely dished flan and a fairly realistic portrait.
